Our Certifications Guarantee the Highest Quality Manufacturing

Verigon holds multiple certifications.

ISO 9001:2015

Quality management systems

As the internationally recognized standard for quality management systems, this certification forms the backbone of how Verigon operates. Certification means every process, from quoting and procurement through assembly, test, and shipment, is documented, measured, and continuously improved. For customers, it translates into predictable lead times, consistent build quality, and a supplier whose quality system has been independently audited rather than self-declared.

AS9100D

Aviation, space, and defense

AS9100D builds on ISO 9001 with requirements specific to the aviation, space, and defense industries, including configuration management, risk-based thinking, counterfeit part prevention, and product safety. Verigon’s certification was issued through PRI, the Performance Review Institute, which is the registrar recognized across the aerospace supply chain. It signals to primes and tier-one suppliers that Verigon can be onboarded as an approved source without a lengthy qualification process.

ISO 13485

Medical device manufacturing

As the quality management standard for medical device manufacturing, Verigon’s certification allows us to build electronics that go into diagnostic, monitoring, and therapeutic equipment. The standard places heavy emphasis on traceability, risk management, validated processes, and controlled documentation, all of which support our customers’ own FDA and regulatory submissions. Medical device OEMs can bring assemblies to Verigon knowing the manufacturing side of their compliance story is already in place.

IPC-A-610 Class 2 and Class 3

Acceptability of electronic assemblies

IPC-A-610 is the industry’s acceptability standard for electronic assemblies, defining what a properly built board looks like down to the solder joint. Verigon builds and inspects to both Class 2, used for dedicated service electronics where continued performance matters, and Class 3, the highest tier reserved for high-reliability products where failure is not an option, such as life-support and flight-critical systems. Our inspectors are trained to these criteria so that workmanship is judged against a shared, objective standard rather than opinion.

J-STD-001 with Space Addendum

Soldered electrical and electronic assemblies

J-STD-001 is the companion requirements standard to IPC-A-610, governing the materials, methods, and process controls used in soldered electrical and electronic assemblies. Verigon’s certification includes the Space Addendum, which adds stricter requirements for hardware that must survive launch vibration, thermal cycling, and vacuum conditions. This is the standard NASA, satellite builders, and launch providers expect from their electronics suppliers, and it reflects the level of process discipline we bring to every build.

ITAR Registered

U.S. Department of State registration

Verigon is registered with the U.S. Department of State under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations, which govern the manufacture and handling of defense articles and related technical data. ITAR registration allows us to receive controlled drawings and specifications, build hardware for defense and aerospace programs, and maintain the access controls, facility security, and personnel requirements those programs demand. Customers working on export-controlled projects can engage Verigon without adding compliance risk to their supply chain.
